Is there anyone who thinks they were at their coolest in high school?
When I think back on being a teenager, and when I ask other people about how they view their teenage selves, the only answer I get is “Ugh, God.”
I am embarrassed for every single thing I did as a 15 year old. I can’t even remember a lot of it, but I’m sure it was all terrible.
I’m embarrassed of just about everything from ages 10-24
You know how people always say that college is/will be the most fun time of your life? For me, it was junior high - high school. All I remember was goofing around with my “posse” (remember using that word?? LULZ), playing tons of basketball and tennis with them, and living a fun, carefree existence. In fact, some of my closest friends to this day are those I grew up with during that time.
The excitement of seeing this on my dash was immeds tempered by the fact that Matt just texted me to say he can’t make it up to DC this weekend.
And then I cried like a spoiled baby.
Well dayum.
I was really, really hoping for a USA - KOR quarterfinal matchup. Thanks for ruining the party, UruGROCE and GhanaRREA.
