As I mentioned previously, Greg and I don’t get to see each other much. So when we do get together, apparently we feel like it’s a super special occasion and act like we’re on some sort of luxuly, all-inclusive eating vacation slash there is no more food left on this Earf.
Behold all the things the boyf and I ate this weekend, starting on Thursday night:
- A basket of freshly-baked hot buns (TEE HEE HOT BUNS) and breads - Deluxe cheddar cheeseburger with fries - Hong Kong-style sea bass on a bed of spinach in a sherry soy broth - An extra side of rice and fries (for moi, obvi) - Four pancakes, four pieces of toast, four sausage patties, four eggs - Eight pieces of spicy Popeye’s chicken with four biscuits - One large side of Popeye’s mashed potatoes and french fries - Three beef sliders with mozzarella on a bed of onion strings - An order of cheddar cheese grits with bacon-wrapped shrimp - One large 14” pizza (pepperoni, spicy Italian sausage, bacon, and mozzarella) - Three small scoops of assorted fresh sorbets - Mini molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream - Four homemade cinnamon doughnut balls with Kahlua dipping sauce - A bowl of edamame - Two medium bowls of hot and sour soup - An order of General Tso’s Chicken with two bowls of rice - Peking Duck with three steamed wrapping buns - An entire bucket of Edy’s Slow-Churned chocolate ice cream - An entire batch of Toll House chocolate-chip cookies (24 in all) - Two fresh doughnuts (one cake, one glazed) - One slice of Starbucks banana nut bread - Six slices of turkey bacon with four scrambled eggs - A bag of sea salt baked potato chips
